Composite Carbon-Based Dioxin and Mercury Adsorbent HiMOX(R) DC-SG

It is primarily made from wood biomass such as thinned wood and waste wood.

Hymox DC-SG is a dioxin adsorbent that has newly been endowed with mercury adsorption properties based on the conventional Hymox manufacturing technology for dioxin adsorption. By injecting it before the bag filter in the incinerator's flue gas, it enables the removal of mercury from exhaust gases while maintaining the conventional high efficiency of dioxin removal. Additionally, it enhances the peelability from the bag filter of fly ash, improving dust removal efficiency. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Mercury adsorbent

Efficient adsorption and removal of gaseous mercury! We also handle the design, manufacturing, and installation of adsorption towers.

Our company manufactures a mercury adsorbent that efficiently adsorbs and removes gaseous mercury from exhaust gases. In addition to conventional lead sulfide, we have developed an adsorbent that uses copper sulfide as an adsorbing component for practical use. With an adsorbent thickness of 1500mm and a gas flow rate in the tower of approximately 0.2m/s, it is possible to expect a removal rate of about 95% to 98%. Moreover, unlike activated carbon, the removal rate does not decrease in the presence of moisture in the gas, and we have a proven track record of long lifespan, ranging from several years to about 10 years, even in the presence of sulfur dioxide (SO2) gas. 【Features】 ■ High removal efficiency ■ Low pressure loss ■ Long lifespan ■ Contains almost no Pb (lead) in the adsorbent *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Composite Carbon-based Dioxin and Mercury Adsorbent 'DC-SG'

The raw material is wood chips! Even if there is variability in the raw materials like waste wood, it is possible to produce a uniform product.

The "DC-SG" enables the removal of mercury from exhaust gases through blowing before the bag filter of the incinerator, while also achieving conventional high-efficiency dioxin removal. It enhances the peelability from the bag filter of fly ash and improves dust removal efficiency. (Stabilization of bag filter performance) The raw materials are wood chips (thinned wood, waste wood, pruned branches, etc.), contributing to the formation of a circular economy through biomass recycling. 【Features】 ■ Enables the removal of mercury from exhaust gases while achieving conventional high-efficiency dioxin removal. ■ Possesses both chemical adsorption characteristics from clay mineral components and physical adsorption characteristics from the nanoporous structure of activated carbon. ■ Conventional activated carbon blowing (silo/supply equipment) can be utilized without the need for additional equipment or modifications. ■ Even with variability in raw materials like waste wood, a homogeneous product can be manufactured. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
